Fall Play

Set in a London neighborhood during the Blitz of 1941, Front explores the choices that ordinary people are forced to make when confronted with unspeakable terror. As German aircraft bombard the city, parents must choose how to keep their children safe, young men must choose whether or not to enlist, and young women must choose how to support or sabotage the war effort. With a cast of deeply flawed and fully realized characters, Front showcases how war can bring out the best and worst in humanity. In the end, each character will face impossible choices: to kill or be killed, to hope for the future or live for the moment, to love selflessly or save themselves. Performers will enjoy delving into the complex identities of their characters, and audiences (ages 13+) will be transported to a gripping historical moment that still holds lessons for us today.
